Thank you to all of the families who helped out with Starbase transportation! We couldn't have done it without you! Today was our last day and the kids had a BLAST (literally) making rockets 2 different ways! First, they blasted AlkaSeltzer film canister rockets, then propelled straw rockets with a variety of mass/force variables.

We had a great day at Starbase today! We were able to visit Border Patrol and see what they do, as well as seeing how K-9 units work with them to find illegal substances. During the afternoon, we used iPads to play a coding game called Box Island (it's a free app, check it out!) and explored making circuits with a product called Little Bits. Next week will be our last Starbase day!
